Aqualease

For more than two decades, Aqualease has been transforming educational spaces through installing and maintaining living aquariums designed to engage, inspire and calm.  These aren’t just decorative features but interactive learning tools.  Used by teachers to bring lessons to life from food webs and pyramids in science, oceans and continents in geography to sparking the imagination in a piece of creative writing.

Aqualease also offer an innovative, fun and interactive rock pool experience, which brings a living, breathing rock pool into the classroom.  Delivered by their knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marine Rangers, who have a real passion for marine biology, ecosystems and conservation.  From children in EYFS through to students in KS4 (and teachers and staff too!!!) will be fully engaged from the get-go.  Having the opportunity to observe, touch and even hold these amazing creatures.

Aquariums and experiences not only provide fantastic learning opportunities but are invaluable for mental health and wellbeing.  An aquarium is a practical and therapeutic way of creating calm and relaxing environments within a school reception, sensory room or classroom.  As they encourage mindfulness, helping individuals feel more grounded and present.  The feeding of the fish also fosters responsibility, routine and a connection with nature.  All of which contribute to emotional balance and mental clarity.
