Bauder Accepts Keys to its New UK Distribution Centre at Gateway 14

Bauder marked a major milestone in its UK expansion with the official handover of a brand-new 44,000-square-foot distribution centre at Gateway 14, in Stowmarket, near Ipswich.

Located within East Anglia’s largest business, innovation and logistics park, this new facility strengthens Bauder’s presence in Suffolk and supports its continued growth across the UK. While it continues to operate from its UK headquarters in Ipswich, this new facility becomes Bauder’s largest distribution hub in the country.

A reflection of Bauder’s growth

Joint Managing Director Yvonne Higgins said, “Gateway 14 represents both our growth and confidence in maintaining our high standards while meeting increasing demand in the UK market.” She added that the project has been achieved in line with Bauder’s sustainability goals and with a strong focus on creating new employment opportunities in the East Anglia region.

Fellow Managing Director John Llewellyn highlighted the facility’s role in meeting the evolving needs of Bauder’s growing customer base, calling it “a state-of-the-art investment” that underlines the company’s long-term ambitions, coinciding with the expansion of our operational base in Ipswich.”

Sustainability at the heart

The Gateway 14 facility has been constructed to BREEAM Excellent standards and features solar PV, LED lighting, EV charging and rainwater harvesting.

Its location within Freeport East, next to Junction 50 of the A14, provides direct access to the UK’s motorway network, further strengthening Bauder’s strategic position in the UK market.
