Scottish exam paper reprinted following error
EB News: 16/05/2017 - 11:26
An exam paper for secondary pupils in Scotland is being re-issued after a mistake was found.
The Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) has said that the Nation 5 Modern Studies exam had to be printed because of a typographical error which led to a mistake in a diagram.
The exams body said there was no suggestion of a security breach and a spokesman added that it had procedures in place to deal with situations like this.
The adjusted paper will now be issued to exam centres across Scotland.
A new survey by the British Council has revealed that more than two thirds (67%) of primary school age children say they would like to spend more time at school learning a language.
