School uses STEM to create prosthetic hand for pupil
A school in Warrington is helping a five-year-old boy by making him a prosthetic hand.
Andrew was born with only two fingers on his right hand because of a condition and the school’s help could see him have better use of his hand.
Beamont Collegiate Academy is putting STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects to good use in order to create the limb using a 3D printer.
