T-Level overall pass rate at 90.5 per cent

T Level results for the academic year 2022/23 have been published, with (90.5%) achieving a Pass or above in their overall T level results across all pathways.

For female students this, is 1,684 (94.9%) and for male students 1,416 (85.8%).  

To pass, a student needs to achieve at least a grade E in the core component, a pass or above in their occupational specialism and meet the industry placement requirements.

Of the 3,448 students with an overall result, 98.7% of students achieved a grade E or above in the core component; 94.9% achieved a Pass or above in their Occupational Specialism; 94.9% completed their Industry Placement.  

The pass rate in the 10 pathways awarded this year ranged from 96.0% (Health) to 70.0% (Digital Business Services).

This summer, Ofsted published the final thematic review report on T levels and the T Level Transition Programme (TLTP), and found that while confidence in teaching is on the rise, some confusion remains among learners and employers - and more work is to be done.
