The majority of children with SEND will have neurodevelopmental immaturity.
The Brainchild Developmental Program is a neurodevelopmental intervention that helps resolve the persistence of primitive brain development from pre-birth and early life, that lies at the root of this immaturity.
The program is designed to help children with developmental diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia overcome their developmental challenges. Children without diagnoses, who face difficulties in life and learning, benefit too.

Enhancing Brain Organisation
EBO for Schools is designed for easy implementation that engages children in a familiar, supportive school environment.
- Target Audience: EBO for Schools is a physically-active program for Reception to Year 6 students in mainstream and specialist schools.
- Structured Learning: The program is led by a video storyline that incorporates an engaging real-time scoring and reward system, reminiscent of a video game.
- Teacher-Friendly: Teachers/SLTAs are guided through a progression of instructional videos, with supporting on-screen information.
- Optimal Use: The annual licence provides flexible use, with a recommended start at the beginning of the school year.
- Screening and tracking systems: Easy-to-use monitoring procedures are built into the program to track progress.
Expected Outcomes
EBO for Schools addresses the root-cause of challenging limitations and distressing behaviours associated with neurodevelopmental issues. These include attention and learning difficulties, anxiety, meltdowns, sensory challenges, reactive behaviours, and physical limitations, all of which hinder academic progress and affect self-esteem.
By fostering teamwork, calmness, well-being and friendships, the program also improves social communication, attainment and attendance.

Funding
As a physically-active program, EBO for Schools has been shown to improve sport and academic performance, helping to meet the requirements of:
- Pupil Premium funding.
- SEND Inclusion funding.
- Sports Premium, in which it is particularly suitable for KS1 and 2.
