Budget 2020: what money is for education?

Other announcements in the 2020 Budget regarding education include £120 million for up to eight new Institutes of Technology.

£95 million will be provided for providers to buy up-to-date facilities and equipment to support delivery of T Levels.

There will also be £90 million per annum to fund arts activities for all secondary school pupils and £29 million to boost PE and competitive sport in primary schools. Again these are not new announcements; the funding for arts and PE were in the Conservatives’ manifesto.
