Wernick Buildings specialises in the design and construction of permanent modular buildings. We provide sophisticated and sustainable offsite building solutions that inspire creative architectural individuality and accelerate project delivery.
Our unique approach harnesses all the properties of traditional build performance but with the added benefits of market-leading offsite manufacturing techniques and technologies.
The Wernick modular system is a proven concept that’s more cost-effective and ecologically friendly than traditional building methods. It’s a permanent building solution that meets all current building regulations and comes with a 25-year structural warranty and 50-year design life expectancy.
We can provide a range of modern teaching equipment and features so you can make the most out of your space. As part of our turnkey service, we can also provide groundwork and landscaping services, including car parks, multi-use games areas and playgrounds.
Our standard classroom specification can be upgraded to accommodate your additional needs. We have experience in providing permanent and specialist facilities, including SEND-friendly classrooms, both as a complete school and as an extension of an existing building.
Wernick Buildings is part of the Wernick Group, a business that has been family-owned and run since its founding over 90 years ago.
Sustainability
At Wernick sustainability is embedded within all aspects of our business operations and product offering. When considering and integrating sustainability we have taken a holistic approach, in the way that we run our business, our production processes and deliver sustainable solutions to our clients whilst adapting to a changing climate. We continue to innovate, collaborate and forge ahead, determined to achieve a sustainable future and leave a positive impact for future generations.
We are implementing a strategy to become a net zero company by 2040. Our Carbon Management Plan sets the strategy and framework for the Wernick Group’s ongoing commitment to managing and reducing its carbon emissions. Specifically, it identifies the Group’s carbon baseline, sets a target for reducing this baseline within a defined period, details an implementation plan, and lists current carbon reduction projects. Understanding that climate change is an urgent global crisis, our commitment goes beyond just complying with our legal requirements – it is being embedded in everything we do as one of our core company values, as laid out in ‘The Wernick Way’.
