Schréder’s EXEDRA is the most advanced remote lighting management system on the market that paves the way for further reaching applications in a smarter city. It is a connected control solution through which we can ensure additional savings are secured, and as classrooms change in their needs – when educational leaders decide, different light levels can be provided. Using Schréder EXEDRA, we can remotely monitor, manage, and control our luminaires to continue to expand energy-saving activities and reduce or eliminate actions that waste energy.

However, we at Urbis Schréder are not just concerned about maximising energy savings and minimising carbon footprint. Our priority is always to ensure safety for people by providing the right light in all circumstances. Schréder EXEDRA integrates advanced features for programming the most efficient dimming profiles based on endless variables (calendar days, special events, seasons, etc) while providing safety, comfort, and a sense of well-being for people.

Sustainability has been a topic close to the heart of the Schréder family shareholders for generations and featured strongly in our company’s mission statement. Our role as market leaders motivates us to take part in the global battle against climate change and contribute to a respectful economic development. We help communities face their biggest challenges, making the world more sustainable. In 2019, we formalised this commitment by conducting our first materiality assessment. Based on the materiality assessment, we developed a cohesive, company-wide sustainability strategy. We called it the “Together for our Future” project and launched it in early 2020.
