Tinker Tailor Launches UK’s First Fully Simulated Mock Asses

Education and careers consultancy Tinker Tailor has launched the UK’s first fully immersive, professionally designed online Mock Assessment Centre for sixth formers, university students, and recent graduates preparing to enter the world of work.

While many organisations offer ‘mock’ sessions, Tinker Tailor’s programme stands apart. Developed by early careers recruitment professionals and delivered by trained assessors, it mirrors the whole structure of real graduate and apprenticeship assessment centres, including group tasks, interviews, presentations, and feedback.

“We’re filling a real gap,” says Bella Eccles, Founder and Director of Tinker Tailor. “There are plenty of sessions called ‘mock assessment centres’ but none that truly replicate the experience with this level of care, depth, and professional insight. Ours are designed not just to practice, but to prepare students for what’s ahead, with detailed feedback that helps them improve and grow.”

Participants are assessed against the key behaviours and competencies that employers prioritise, including communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The feedback students receive is structured, honest, and actionable, helping them build confidence and improve with each stage.

The next Tinker Tailor Online Mock Assessment Centre will run on the 31st of October for students applying for Graduate and Internships and Apprenticeships.
