How ScentAir NanoStrike 900 Works

NanoStrike utilises an atmospheric plasma discharge—the same type of discharge found in lightning strikes—to kill and inactivate harmful airborne microorganisms. NanoStrike plasma coils provide a deadly strike, made up of multiple concurrent processes, that work to rapidly destroy airborne pathogens.

NANO – The technology destroys nanosized microorganisms, less that 1nm in diameter, using a range of concurrent pathogen inactivation processes occurring in the nanosecond timeframe.

STRIKE – Strike reinforces the immediate destructive effects that the plasma has on pathogens at the DNA level, effectively killing airborne viruses including Covid-19, bacteria and fungi with one strike.

ScentAir ION Protect

ScentAir ION Protect is a science-based technology that works with air conditioning units. Unlike common air purifiers that wait for harmful particles to run through them, ION Protect purifiers seek out pollutants in the air.

How ScentAir ION Protect Works

ION Protect patented NPBI technology safely introduces ions into your indoor airstream. Using the airflow of your existing ventilation system, ions disperse across the space, bonding with particles suspended in the air.

HVAC systems do the work for us, constantly circulating the ions into occupied spaces, even the ones you can’t see. This creates a snowball effect. Negative ions released by ION Protect systems cluster with positive ion particles in the air. As these large clusters pass back through the HVAC return, the filtration system easily captures them.
