Survey on behavioural cycle released

Forty three per cent of teachers said their lessons were disrupted, a survey from Teacher Tapp has found.

This is the highest percentage recorded since the Teacher Team survey began in 2018.

Primary are reporting more disruption compared to secondary (47 per cent vs 38 per cent), and it has risen more sharply since the pandemic.

The survey also asked respondents if they were looking to move schools or leave the teaching profession all together.

The number of teachers wanting to leave the classroom altogether has doubled the number in secondary since 2018.
