The Piano Teachers Course EPTA UK
Now in its 8th year, PTC continues to equip pianists & piano teachers with the full range of professional skills for a successful career, plus the opportunity to connect with an inspiring & informative network of pianists.
It provides excellent preparation for all Piano Teaching Diplomas, including those from the ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall and London College, through exposure to the latest in piano teaching pedagogy.
The course leads to The Certificate of the Piano Teachers’ Course (Cert PTC) a recognised piano teaching qualification, and which entitles holders to full membership & benefits of EPTA UK.
A part-time course, it is designed to suit those with other commitments, lasting one academic year from October through to June. The 2016-17 course consists of three residential weekends, three single Sundays and independent study spread throughout the year.
The Purcell School has hosted PTC since 2008. Situated in Bushey, Herts on the outskirts of North London it offers easy road & rail access and outstanding musical facilities.
To find out more before enrolling on the course, or to attend some of the lectures, the PTC Open Days offer a unique opportunity to visit Purcell, available on 6 dates in 2016. To observe the style of the sessions, take a look around the facilities – and connect with both students & tutors
