First Class Education’s Head of Education and Training, Peter Cobrin, gets really excited about their new programme for primary and secondary schools across London and the south-east.
Set within a beautiful 84 acre private country estate in idyllic surroundings on the southern shores of Lake Ullswater, Patterdale Hall is a converted Victorian country house. Accommodating up to 60 students and 10 visiting staff, the centre is well equipped to look after all your needs.
The existing provision has been operated for 20 years and holds a comprehensive Adventurous Activities licence (AALA).
A stay at Patterdale Hall will see your students enhance their confidence and character, develop skills for life and their social and emotional awareness, engage with the natural environment, and most of all broaden their horizons whilst having lots of fun.
Staff at Patterdale Hall are highly experienced and will work with you to design an outdoor learning programme to meet the needs of your school and group. Outdoor Pursuits are used as the main vehicle for learning at Patterdale and may include: canoeing, kayaking, raft building, climbing, abseiling, hillwalking, camping or gorge scrambling to name a few. Staying on the estate, we can offer such activities as orienteering, archery, team building, ropes course challenges and bushcraft skills.
