The goal of Farlington School in West Sussex, which accepts pupils between the ages of 4 and 18, is to ensure that its students leave the school as well-educated young people with strong interpersonal skills and a broad range of interests.
Leeds Museums and Galleries
We have the medieval Kirkstall Abbey, Abbey House is home to our social history collections, Tudor Temple Newsam House, Edwardian Lotherton Hall, Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, Thwaite Mills, Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds City Museum and the Leeds Discovery Centre - our open access store where we keep the million objects not on display.
Each site offers a menu of experiential, multi-sensory and interactive curriculum-based workshops to choose from, or we can work with you to create a tailored package for the specific needs of your students. These have been developed through extensive teacher consultation and meet the 2014 National Curriculum and Exam Board Specifications. On our sites, we have creative spaces for you to work in and can help you with Health and Safety. Leeds Museums and Galleries are Arts Award Supporters and we can help you build projects and programmes to suit Bronze, Silver and Gold. We have specific offers for Artsmark schools. You can even build on the visit back in the classroom through My Learning, our national online learning resource.
