Thorpe Park

Dear educators, motivators and (hopefully) lovers of rollercoasters

Our aim is to deliver inspiring and active trips for your students and a day that is rewarding for them and their teachers. We also hope to extend the impact of this trip far beyond the day itself. Many teachers have discovered students bond on school trips at the beginning of the year and we have a brand new activities to help develop skills like team work and communication.

Other subject leaders have observed the power of incentives for honing keen young minds until end of year reward trips and we offer a range of extras such as Fastracks to reinforce achievements. Many schools have seen an increase in attendance, attitude and subject interest once they have organized an educational trip to THORPE PARK Resort.
Finally we offer a range of onsite educational sessions that reflect the national curriculum whilst capturing the thrilling essence of THORPE PARK Resort. Our newest Psychology and Computing sessions celebrate Derren Brown’s Ghost Train whilst our K’NEX Science classes offer a hands on science exploration. I am confident you will find experiences at THORPE PARK Resort that will thrill your students.

Why is STEM so vital?

  • Student incentive trip
  • Incredible value
  • Water rides, bumper cars and roller coasters!

Maria Rossini, Head of Education at the BSA (British Science Association), said:

“The BSA is thrilled to be partnering with THORPE PARK Resort to help students discover STEM in a fun, real-world context. We have also developed classroom and onsite resources and activities for students to undertake as a CREST Discovery Day project and available to download for free on the CREST website.”

Dominic Jones, Divisional Director of Thorpe Park Resort said:

“The Education programme at Thorpe Park Resort has proved popular for many years. This year sees a greater investment with the development of a new 2017 programme endorsed by the British Science Association and STEM. It’s vital to keep young minds energised and test what is learnt in the classroom in exciting locations. Thorpe Park Resort provides the perfect backdrop to stimulate minds and look at science and engineering in a creative environment.”
