Flagship event at THORPE PARK ideal for STEM school trips

This event is designed to introduce students to the exciting world of STEM as well as showcase career paths to those that have a passion for these subjects.

The event will deliver a mass variety of STEM related activities that will be delivered by Middlesex University including EEG workstations, Loco machines, robot selfie’s, Kinetic Mario, AR Sandbox, Physiology tests, Mind control and much much more. In 2019 there promises to be a minimum of 2 hours of dwell time in the arena space for school groups but the education does not just end there.

STEM Fair 2019 will also be hosting guest speakers from the world of Engineering such as the Group Director of Engineering at Merlin Entertainments, Dawn Childs. More headline acts to be announced so we advise you to watch this space.

The THORPE PARK Education Team Manager, Jamie Chegwin says:

“It is an unmissable event for teachers seeking a school trip that covers various STEM subjects for really good value. The format of the event allows it to be very hands-on and fun, but most importantly we are trying to deliver that moment of inspiration for young minds that turns that WOW moment into finding an exciting career aspiration”.

THORPE PARK’s award winning workshop programme will still be available to be booked, but we advise to be quick as slots are always limited on special event days.

Dates are yet to be announced but rumours have it will be before Easter half term towards end of March. Tickets will be around £15 per student and will provide full access to the rides! However don’t worry, the THORPE PARK Education Team are taking reservations until the date is announced which can be done by teachers emailing tpschools@thorpe-park.co.uk now.
