Kidzania London to host bullying prevention rally

KidZania London will be hosting anti bullying activities on 29 June 2019, as part of WWE’s ‘Call Out Bullying’ campaign with the children’s charity the NSPCC.

The campaign is focused on helping young people understand why bullying is never acceptable and what to do if they experience or witness it.

Families will have the chance to meet and greet WWE NXT UK Superstars, who will run sessions tackling bullying head on. The stars will ‘step into the ring’ – aka the KidZania Theatre – to speak to children about different types of bullying, from what to do if they are being bullied or see bullying happening. They will also explore how emotions can affect how we act and treat others.

The campaign will also help parents recognise the warning signs if their child is being bullied, allowing them to speak to their children about how to combat the problem.

The rally with WWE Superstars will run at 11am – 1pm and 2 – 4pm. Children who participate will earn 10 kidZos (KidZania currency) and will also receive a goody bag from WWE and the NSPCC.

Following Saturday’s event, KidZania will continue to run the Call Out Bullying activity in the Theatre for the duration of July, with the aim of spreading the message to as many young people as possible. Hosting the activity well into the summer is an effort to ease their fears before going back to school, with the start of the new term a scary prospect for many students.
