NAHT to host regional events to debate school funding

Head teachers union NAHT is hosting events across the country to raise and debate the impact the funding crisis is having on UK schools. Teachers, school leaders, governors, MPs and parents are invited to join together to campaign for an investment in education.

There will be summit in Bath and North East Somerset on 27 June. The community-led event on school funding cuts is open to parents, students, employers, educational professionals and those interested in education.

Attendees will get the chance to debate and consider issues such as whether the current education and budget allocation system is evenly meeting existing education, economic and social need.

This event will take place from 7pm to 8.30pm at Saltford Hall, Wedmore Road, Saltford, Bristol BS31 3BY.

The East Midlands education summit takes place on 13 July and will gather school leaders, MPs, governors and parent campaigners to discuss the impact of the school funding crisis.

The event will take place at 1pm to 3pm at Notts County Football stadium, Meadow Lane, Nottingham, NG2 3HJ.

These summits are free to attend and are available to members and non-members. To join an event or for more information email our team on organising@naht.org.uk.
